We remember Dolly Parton, who died at the age of 80 on Aug. 25, 2026. We also recall a special moment from the 1970s, when Dolly appeared on the WITN Almanac with Dick Jones and Slim Short. A wonderful piece of WITN history — and a wonderful memory of a true legend.
